Postcards of My Own

My addiction, or love, of writing to people has led me to start creating my own postcards. Where possible I buy postcards from local places but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find them and when I can find them they are more and more expensive. I'm sure I'm not the only one finding this, it also seems to be that in smaller towns it is almost impossible. I also found that the increase in stamp prices in Australia meant I needed to budget more carefully. So with this in mind I sort out companies that sell online or enable you to print your own postcards.

My main solution has been to print some of my own photos. I always take photos of different things I see and love to pretend I'm a bit of a photographer... well sometimes anyway, so over the years I've collected a few photos that I have turned into postcards. More recently I've been starting to sell them along with my candles and soap on my website, as well as on eBay and Etsy. I've also added some of these photographs, along with some of my other half's to Red Bubble to see if we can share the love there :) I think that I've been able to make some lovely cards to share with others. I have recently been working on some new flower photos, thanks to the wonderful variety of flowers available with the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers coming up.

Some of my favourite postcards are here below :)
